Puddin'

Well...meet Puddin' DeBorde. If you mix a kid's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, Guy in the parking lot giving away free kittens, Rusty's soft heart...you get a Puddin' Ray is over the moon, she's been wanting a kitten, I've been holding her off. Kitty fits in nicely, he/she lives outside and Zsa Zsa treats her like her very own baby! We should really have our heads examined! Who stands outside Chuckie's, on a Sunday, giving away kittens? He was brilliant, but we didn't stand a chance! Look at that smile on Reagan's face though!!!!

Birthday Weekend at Yogi

Well she is officially NINE! We celebrated her birthday at Yogi Bear Park with some camping friends, and we had a great weekend, despite the cold front that blew in!
The weather on Friday was gorgeous & with the heated pool in the water park, the kids were able to swim. They were lucky, by that afternoon in was chilly and Saturday was even colder. The whole gang in the Mandatory Yogi photo!

There were adults here, but it got cold and I didn't pull my camera out too much...Well it was another great trip, Morgan had a great birthday, thank you to all of you that helped her celebrate.
Happy Birthday Mo! We love you!

Birthday Presents Already!

Well Morgan busted us with one of her birthday presents in the back of Rusty's truck. She had asked for the Razor Scooter that is Electric, we bought it and planned on waiting...didn't happen. After she saw it I actually was glad she got to get it before Spring Break, she can use it all week while she is off. She's been loving it! Ray's not too happy, she wants a regular Razor scooter in pink. I made her a deal that as soon as she rode her bicycle without training wheels ( she can totally do it, but she's scared) I would get her one. We'll see, she hasn't ridden it yet! First day of Spring Break is all but over, but they got their haircuts and look cute, lunch with Dad, & some time playing outside. Now they are in scrapbooking! So glad to have them both around this week!

If your kids like SpongeBob...

Go to http://www.spongebobhappyplace.com/ this site is sponsored by WalMart & the games are free, as well as a virtual SpongeBob Squarepants. The code to enter is "HAPPY " Reagan did this today and it was easy and totally appropriate! Enjoy!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hope you remembered your GREEN, & you don't get pinched. Friday is the first day of Spring, and the beginning of Morgan's Spring Break. Hopefully we will do something fun that will give me something to blog about! Her birthday falls during her Spring Break this year, which she is a little bummed about. She likes having her birthday at school with her friends, as an indicator of her growing up, she has passed on a "birthday party" this year. We will be camping with some of our friends and she just wants a cake and to celebrate with them! I am sure we will do a family dinner or something, and I am not all that sad to see the big party days pass, but she sure is growing up fast! Hope you have a LUCKY day!

Irish Toasts for Saint Patty Celebrations

I have known many, liked not a few, loved only one, I drink to you.

***May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live.

***As you slide down the banisters of life may the splinters never point the wrong way.

***May your troubles be as few and as far apart as my Grandmothers teeth.

***May the Lord keep you in His hand and never close His fist too tight.

***May your neighbors respect you, Trouble neglect you, The angels protect you, And heaven accept you.

***In the New Year, may your right hand always be stretched out in friendship and never in want.

***Here's that we may always have a clean shirt,a clean conscience, and a guinea in our pocket.

***May you have the hindsight to know where you've been, the foresight to know where you're going and the insight to know when you're going too far.

***May the hinges of our friendship never grow rusty.

***Beautiful young people are acts of nature,But beautiful old people are works of art.
