Reagan woke up and dashed to her mirror, she said"I don't look any bigger", she was really banking on being more like Morgan when she turned 5. The mood changed when she got to the presents though! Well it's her day all day & I hope she has a great one!Presents! The whole gang: Charlotte, Kali, Tori, Lauren, JB, Reagan, Collin, Morgan, McKenna, Taylor, Kayla, Maci. A few left early Emilee, Bella, Alyssa, Brynna, and Lil Bella.
So sweet & so excited for the party.

Yeah! Reagan started her first day of Pre-K today. This is her last year and she's been with the same kids 2 days a week since she was 3. Next year will be the real thing...Kindergarten. She was excited to get back in the groove with her buddies. Tomorrow is her 5th birthday, I will wait til then to post her party pictures. She sure is growing up fast.

Ray- glad you had a great day at school and I love the mouse and cookie you made for me :-)

Thursday with Rusty...20 year high school reunion addition?

In 1988...

Race issues anyone?

Halabja poison gas attack: The Kurdish town of Halabjah in Iraq was attacked with a mix of poison gas and nerve agents, killing thousands of people.

Terrorist issues anyone?

Nascar still sucks!

The more things change the more they stay the same...

20 years later TU Sucks!

I am OLD.

Big Ra!

A Mere 20 years

What were you doing 20 years ago? Well I was 13 and enjoying junior high, sleep overs, and teenage drama. Rusty on the other hand was sporting a permed mulllet (yeah, he had hair then), parachute pants, weighing in at about 125 pounds soaking wet, and graduating from high school PHS class of 1988!

I only bring this up because his reunion is this weekend, I will be sure to take many photos. I tell ya time flies! I've been out 15 years and that just doesn't seem possible, so think of me as I hang with all the old geezers this weekend :-)

Back in Action... Updated

So we have had our power back, but my computer was not working. I got her fixed today!I sure wish things would get back to normal, but still no school, both mine and Rusty's moms do not have power yet, things are just off. We are so lucky, our families and friends are all functioning and that is great! Over the weekend we got away to Rusty's deer lease for some R&R (secretly so our moms would use our AC, they don't want to burden us, but they don't understand how we would be glad to help) Morgan went duck hunting for her first time & loved it, I think that made Rusty's day! She didn't actually hunt anything, she was more of a spectator, but she was participating and that is what matters most. There are pictures, but they are on Rusty's camera since I was sleeping while they hunted, someone had to stay back with Chilli, Ray, & Zsa Zsa right? We kicked around on the 4 wheeler and enjoyed the outdoors, it was nice. I found a fully functioning grocery store today,YEAH!!! Milk & meats! what a luxury, we will yet again have a hot home cooked meal! Hope you are all well and keeping it together...will post those pics soon.

Ok, update on this post...

I don't have the pictures of Morgan yet, but Rusty has cameras set up on trees to take pictures of the wildlife that comes to his feeders, pretty cool. Anyhow while we were "working" this weekend the cameras caught pictures of us, we were'nt really thinking about the cameras catching us on film. There's also some pics of some of the deer at his feeder... stay tuned for the lil' duck hunter shots.

The duck hunt! How cute are they?!!!
Mo & "The Big Rig" as she calls it. She was so excited and had so much fun, if you can't tell. Soon Chilli Dog will get to be out there too, Morgan swears there is no other dog that will ever retrieve her ducks! Yeah I'll get back to ya in about 10 years when some cute lil' Aggie Boy takes her hunting and she lets his dog get her ducks. Am I raising a redneck? No Way Right?!!

Thursday with Rusty...My take on Ike

I remember a stand up comedian doing his thing years ago about Ethiopia and the starvation problems that country faced. The comedian was obviously making light of the situation by saying you live in a freakin desert, nothing grows in a desert. Hello? It is a freakin hurricane, if you are afraid or not willing and able to endure the inevitable hardships that await you in its aftermath, then leave. If you are not able to leave then by all means follow the warnings of the media, who are all to happy to over hype things, or your local government and be prepared or seek help. Here in this great country and state we are all to willing to help someone when they are down, even the dumb ones and that is why I love our homeland so much. With that said, if you

I hope everyone is safe and sound, even if you are a few fruit loops shy of a full bowl. And if you are not, call me. I will help you figure it out.

Ike Beat The Crap Outta Tina....

He didn't take us down though. We are still Kickin' it here is Pearville. No power, but house was spared for the most part. Hubby, kids & pets all safe. hope you are all fine out there, I will be glad when this is behind us. Stay positive & when bored come see us, text me, I am losing battery power on my phone, so i have been charging it in the car. Rusty has power at his office, so i checked my email and was able to post this. Much love to all of you.... We survived that is something to be thankful for!!!

Kick Like a Girl

Reagan started her first season of soccer last night. Morgan has played for 3 years and Reagan was so exicted to get started. Rusty is the coach & Morgan is his assistant, I'll see how that works out. She hustled her butt off last night, and seemed to enjoy it. It is a co-ed team, but she held her own with the boys out there. I have a few pre-practice pics I'll post some of the games when they start.
Chili went to the vet yesterday too, and has started her treatment. The report from the vet last night was that she was doing well & even wagging her tail at them. We miss her, keep her in your thoughts.

Birthday Month

In our house you get bragging rights, when it the month of your birthday, until your actual birthday passes. Now this is excellent for me because my birthday is January 31, I get all month! Morgan's is March 28 so she fares pretty well also. Rusty's is Feb 7, so he only gets a week, but let's face it, he feels like every month is his birthday month anyway!

Well Little Ray's birthday is September 30, so it is her birthday month! To honor her I have changed my background to a "Happy Birthday" theme. She'll be 5 this year and she is very excited. Happy Birthday Month Reagan I hope you enjoy it, & if it is your birthday month... Happy Month to you also!

Thursday with the Big Ra on Friday again?

At this time Rusty has issued a written apology for being unable to perform his normal responsibilities on Thursday. Due to the results this passed Saturday in College Station and a certain unfortunate incident in the men's shower at Lake Texanna involving another male, Rusty has requested privacy and respect for his family at the most difficult time.

Whoop Whoop!

Saturday we loaded up and met our OJT camping group at Lake Texana. It was HOT! The lake was filled with alligators, there was not a shade tree to be seen, BUT.... we mangaed to conjure up quite a few laughs, mix up some cocktails, eat like kings, pulled out the cards, there was even some dancing and singing and that was just from the adults. The kids had a ball as usual also, but they stayed inside a lot because of the heat, the only real outdoor activity was the redneck homemade slip n slide (see pictures), may not have been pretty, but it kept them entertained.Ladies of the group!
We called Reagan "Flashdance" after she came out wearing this suit, headband and all.
Zsa Zsa &Bella, the puppies first camping trip & the kids loved her & she was held a lot!The police paid us a visit... a friendly one this time we weren't in any trouble they were just giving a weather update.

the guys got this bright idea to tape Coors Light cans together to measure how many beer cans tall Jill is, she is 11 3/4 cans tall, but we didn't stop there...we had our very own lighting rod!

Now... here is some of the dancing and singing I mentioned before, Jason & Jill you had us a" ALL Jacked UP" from what I can remember!

My Mom

We kicked off Labor Day weekend with a small shindig at my Mom's to celebrate her 60th birthday. Happy Birthday Mom!
