Yogi & Boo Boo

Happy Memorial Day! The DeBorde's are back from New Braunfels safe & sound, broke from the cost of gas, but safe nonetheless. We stayed at Yogi Bear Park, if intersted it is a great family campground that we really love. We started out our Memorial EXTRAVAGANZA by meeting a friend of mine, Mendi, and her crew for dinner at the Gristmill in Gruene. It was great to see her and her boys are getting so grown and very well behaved. Here's Morgan with Josh, the oldest, Mendi and I were pregnant with these 2 while we were teaching, the only problem was Josh's hat which you will see in the picture. She has 2 more cuties, Justin & Will. The girls had a ball with them.

On Saturday we floated the Guadalupe along with 27 million other folks! Ok not that many but there were a lot. The kids did great and we had a blast. I didn't have a water camera so I don't have any pictures of this. Later the kids did crafts a the Yogi Bear craft room, most of them made hats...Here's Ray, Kayla, Morgan &Bella. Too cute

On Sunday we headed off to Schlitterbahn, amazingly we ran into the same 27 million people! I still didn't have a water camera. I can promise you though, and I would not lie about something like this...I looked HOT in my bikini. anyway....

Monday we are headed home and we got a few pictures of all the junior campers by who else but Yogi Bear

Last, by morgan's request I will show a picture of an actual rabbit that was camping at Yogi, I kid you not this thing was huge and was like these people's baby, it rode around in a stroller. You don't see this everyday!

Tim Julie Kayla & Collin , Shot through the Heart & you're to blame...You give love.. a bad name" But Tim & Mike you need to brush up on the washers, maybe you can get Julie and I next time.

Thursdays with Rusty....

Rusty will be posting his smart tidbits Thursdays. He is going for the whole "Tuesdays with Morrie" thing. I cannot be responsible for what is posted on those days :-). It has been a busy week, so stay tuned next week. I bet you will learn something you never knew you needed to know.

Dance Pics

I had a few more recent photos, the girls had their dance pictures taken a few weeks ago. Now, for some reason, I don't have any of Reagan in her costumes. I assure you she had her picture taken and they were cute. I am sure one day I will pay for the therapy to explain why I took pictures of one and not the other? I guess the squeaky wheel doesn't get all of the attention. Reagan is in some of the pictures, exhibiting her "flare", but not in costume. I will post some of her later when she has her recital. Morgan is in ballet and jazz this year and her costume is pictured.

Last but certainly not least, here's Rusty! The girls were playing with the camera this weekend, I am sure he will love this one!

Ok so I am such a follower! I have been reading everyone's blogs and now I am joining in. I will start with a few pics of the families & after our little Memorial weekend getaway I will have some new pics to share.

The most recent I have now are Easter. The girls were dressed for a party and on the way home Rusty and I were suckered into buying them a bunny and two baby ducks after a few Mimosas at the Easter party...fast foward to May and we have only a bunny. Yeah there is a story there about having a trained duck hunting dog in the same yard with DUCKS! We have had to say good-bye to Bella and Alyssa the duckies. But Oreo is still kicking it as the most recent addition to the DeBorde clan & boy am I thrilled.
