We decided to spend New Years Eve at Lake Livingston State Park this year. Many of us were wanting to share the night with the kids, but not wanting anyone to have to get on the roads, so camping seemed like a great option. It was really fun & weather was great. Rusty's Big Rig was having some trouble getting us there, but after a mere 6 hours we made it. If this New Years is any indication how 2009 will be, I am blessed. There were a lot of laughs, stories, hikes, delicious eats, great friends, campfires, all of our kids, and plenty of cold beer...maybe even a stumble or 2! Thanks to all of you that shared it with us, for all of our family and friends that did not, we are looking forward to a great '09 with you and and feel so lucky that you all are a part of our lives.Now that the serious side is done, here's some pictures and a video of our trip.
